Anna's first (major) steps! Check out this big giggling girl. Dr. Skoch said (at her 15 month appointment) that she'd probably be walking by 16 months. She'll be 16 months old on Tuesday! Just made it!

Mardi Gras & The Super Bowl

Needless to say, Ian is not happy with the outcome of the big game. We did, however, have a fun weekend anyway. Anna enjoyed the Mardi Gras celebration we had a church on Sunday. I made her "feather hat" at a party on Saturday evening. She loved the music, crazy costumes and especially the beaded necklaces she got to wear. It's been hard to get them out of her hands since!

Welcome

Ok, so I'm trying out a new thing, blogging. I actually started a blog when I was pregnant with Anna. I intended to use it as a place for friends and family to check in with us, since most of you are so far away. Well, needless to say, it didn't work out because I didn't keep up with it. I guess with the hustle and bustle of a new baby at home, it just didn't stick.

Since Anna is just about to turn 15 months (already!) I thought it might be time to give it another go. This way, you can check in with us anytime you so desire and see pictures, videos (once I figure that out), really just what we're up to. You can even leave us messages. Let us know what you think!
